There Are Only Revolutions
or
Are Ideas Alive In The East Village?

It is a very calm night on a very docile friday evening.

Ghandi the film is playing on the television, the opening scene is of ghandi walking and getting assasinated.

Excuse my ignorance on the subject, but an indepth bio of Ghandi was skipped over by my history teachers.

However, a hint of inspiration has struck me that I would love to share with you.

It is a novel.

A story, like all good novels tend to be.

It is a story of a man who becomes a messiah, a savior, to a dying and oppressed culture...

However, having just today picked up Mr. Danielowski's new "Only Revolutions" dual story book, I felt this was keeping in its spirit:

The second half of the same novel; why this messianic man must die.

Think of Mussolini, Hitler, Bin Laden, fascists evil men that we all wish dead...

Why would someone want to shoot Ghandi in cold blood? Why would someone see Hitler as a savior?

Has this been done before?

Nothing like a good thought at the end of a long work week to get the loins and mind burning yes?
